Okay, here is an easy-peasy recipe for limeade. With the cost of groceries going up, I've figured that making a double batch of this (if you buy your limes at Costco) is hardly more than a can of lime concentrate. Husband got this recipe from the executive chef where he works and he's been showing it to his customers with rave reviews. Of course, my review is the one that should count the most, right?
One batch: (A regular sized blender will only make one batch at a time)
2 limes
1 cup sugar
5 cups water
Rinse and wipe the limes, drop them in the blender (WHOLE) with the water and sugar. Blend for a minute or so. Pour through a strainer into a pitcher (to remove the pulp and rind). Enjoy!
See? Easy. There you go Laurel. By the way, do not try substituting Splenda (even the 1/2 and 1/2 kind). It gives the limeade a terrible bitter taste. If anything, cut the sugar. This is really good with a dash of cranberry juice in it, and/or some club soda!

Ah! Yum. I will be trying that as soon as I get to the store to buy limes!
I made this for a dinner party last night and it was a huge hit. Thanks for sharing!
