A Milestone of My Own

Please excuse me for a moment while I toot my own horn.

TODAY I COMPLETED MY PROGRAM!!! Yes, after two long years (and two summers) of classes, I completed the final class needed to get my teaching license. Can I just tell you how good that feels? Okay, probably not as good as it will feel 3 classes from now, when I'm all done with my master's degree, but still - dang good!

So...what's a girl to do after a major accomplishment? First, I improvised a pizza party with both of my sisters, our kids and my dad. Now, I'm going to take a guilt-free nap. Tonight, I hit the movies with my sister and a friend to see a total chick flick. I'm also going to the library tomorrow to pick up a couple of leisure reading books for our vacation.

Here is my sigh of relief and contentment...ahhhhhhhhh.
